Most of the snow has ended for the rest of the area away from Lake Superior, but it is not over. Another shot of very heavy snow is due into the area tonight. Wind chill values will drop well into the upper single digits and teens throughout the day as the wind may stay breezy out of the northwest. Surface high pressure will circulate into the Northland for the end of the weekend.

As a result, the wind will be calm, clouds will be few and temperatures will drop off a lot Sunday night! However, a brief warm up will happen by the time Tuesday rolls around! This will be due to an advancing warm front as a low pressure center will develop to our west. Expect a lot of spots to warm into the upper 30s and lower 40s. The wind will also remain breezy for the mid to possibly late portion of the week. This will be due to a strong cold front passing by.
